Arriving for a six-month project, waiting for your house to be ready, or just not ready to sign a year's lease? A serviced apartment rented by the month bridges the gap. Here is how it compares with a condo, and six we know well between Langsuan and Ekkamai.

Why we don't list condos by the night
Under the Hotel Act, renting accommodation for less than 30 days is a hotel business and needs a licence, and condominium rules generally prohibit it. Penalties include fines of ฿20,000 plus ฿10,000 a day, and Bangkok authorities raided nearly 200 illegal condo units in early 2025. Every serviced apartment we recommend operates as a licensed property; condos we list are for monthly or longer leases only.

By The Crest Collection, an Ascott brand, on Sukhumvit 38 about 20 metres from BTS Thong Lo exit 1. Studios to two bedrooms, 38–95 sq.m, with pool, gym, onsen and sauna. Stays from one month. Small dogs and cats accepted, with a deposit. One-bedroom (52 sq.m) from ฿95,000 and two-bedroom (65 sq.m) from ฿125,000 a month on a one-month stay, with housekeeping three times a week and butler service.
Target Estate Residences · Langsuan
A low-rise building of 32 long-stay residences in Langsuan, a short walk from Lumpini Park. One- and two-bedroom suites in a calm, residential street.
Bliston Suwan Park View · Chidlom
Hotel and serviced residence on Soi Tonson, off Ploenchit Road, a short walk from BTS Chidlom and close to Langsuan and Lumpini Park. One- to three-bedroom apartments with full kitchens, plus a pool, gym and children's playroom. A 1-bedroom of 65 sq.m is from ฿65,000 a month. Small dogs are accepted, with a one-time ฿5,800 pet cleaning fee and a refundable ฿25,000 pet deposit.
Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor · Thong Lo
Ascott-run serviced residence completed in 2019, about 600 metres from BTS Thong Lo, with pool, gym, sauna and a shuttle. Studios to two-bedroom apartments.
Jasmine 59 Hotel · Thong Lo
On Sukhumvit 59, with a shuttle to BTS Thong Lo. Units from 33 sq.m studios to two-bedroom suites and three-bedroom duplex penthouses on the top of the 28-floor building, all with a kitchen and washing machine, plus pool and hotel services. Takes short and long stays.
Penthouse long-stay rates (3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 6, for bookings until 31 December 2026): Penthouses 2 and 3, 165 sq.m, ฿170,000 a month for 1–5 months or ฿165,000 for 6–12 months; Penthouses 1 and 4, 195 sq.m, ฿185,000 or ฿180,000. Net of service charge and tax, with housekeeping six days a week, ฿6,000 of utilities a month, internet on 12-month stays and parking included. Deposit: one month for stays of 1–3 months, two months for longer stays, plus one month in advance.

A serviced residence of two-bedroom suites on Thonglor Soi 21, off Sukhumvit 55, in a quieter residential pocket. About 15 minutes' walk from BTS Thong Lo, close to the cafés and restaurants of mid-Thonglor and Samitivej Hospital.

Ascott-run and built for families: studios up to three-bedroom residences of 23–242 sq.m, a pool with children's pool, kids' club, gym and a shuttle to BTS Ekkamai. Pet-friendly, subject to house rules.
